The Bilinda Butchers起初是由Michal和Adam成组于北加州郊的一个梦幻自赏乐队。后来不断摸索尝试加入更多的器乐及地域元素，拥有了更多的如迷幻、电音、流行等多种类型的歌曲。2011年发行首张EP《Regret, Love, Guilt, Dreams》，2012年发行了第二张EP《Goodbyes》。
